Kayamkulam Kochunni is not a historical movie, says Bobby-Sanjay team!
A big Budget movie is coming from Young Mollywood Star Nivin Pauly as he is joining hand with master director Roshen Andrews for the first time in his career. The movie is titled as Kayamkulam Kochunni and it will be scripted by the popular screenwriter duo in Mollywood named Bobby and Sanjay. The flick will start rolling from early next year in Sri Lanka and 12 crores is said to be the budget of this movie , which will be based on the life story of Kayamkulam Kochunni. But the writers of this movie, Bobby- Sanjay team said that Kayamkulam Kochunni will not be a historical movie.
The film will tell the story of the most popular thief ever lived in Kerala. A lot of stories about him can be found in books like “Aithihyamaala” written by Kottarathil Shankunni. There are many other books related to his life as well. According to Roshen Andrews, they are making this as a thrilling movie and it will be made in such a way that people of this generation can also relate to the situations in the plot.
Bobby- Sanjay team said that they had done many kinds of research about him before writing a screenplay based on his life. It will cover all major periods in his life including his romantic life, says Bobby and Sanjay.
