Kayamkulam Kochunni going strong at the box office; 2-day collection report is here
Nivin Pauly-Mohanlal starrer magnum opus movie Kayamkulam Kochunni is continuing its dream run at box office. On its 3rd day also, the flick directed by Rosshan Andrrews is doing great business. Now, the 2-day worldwide collection report of this movie has arrived.
From its 2 days run at worldwide box office, it had grossed over 16.5 crores. From UAE box office alone it had grossed over 5.20 crore. In other GCC countries and in the rest of India market too, this film is doing great. From Kerala alone, the flick had grossed around 9 crores as per reports.

Now, the film is all set to break the first-weekend collection record set by Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan two years back. Kayamkulam Kochunni is riding on the star value of Mohanlal and Nivin Pauly. The performance of Mohanlal and the terrific climax sequence is the highlight of this flick. The extended cameo of Mohanlal has been fabulous and Nivin Pauly too had given his career-best performance in a mass role.
Rosshan Andrrews also got the biggest box office success of his career. It seems that producer Gokulam Gopalan too will get his first genuine financial box office success. The flick had done great pre-release business as well. Here also the Mohanlal factor played a big part.
