Katrina Kaif refused the offer to play the female lead of Chiranjeevi!
Chiranjeevi, the Mega Star of Tollywood is coming back to his acting career. He has been active in Politics for a while and now decided to do a movie again. It will be his 150th movie and it said to be the Telugu remake of the Super Successful Kollywood movie Kaththi starred by Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and directed by A R Murugados. They are now searching for a female lead for this movie and as per reports they had approached Bollywood’s superheroine Katrina Kaif with the offer to play the female lead in this movie. But she had refused the offer, says sources.
Earlier she had acted in two Telugu movies in which she played the heroines of actors like Venkitesh and Nandamuri Balakrishna. She played the female lead in Venkitesh’s Malleeswari and Balakrishna’s Allari Peedugu. Katrina had acted in a Malayalam movie as well years back. It was in the Mammootty starrer named Balram Vs Tharadas directed by IV Sasi. It was a box office disaster, unfortunately.
Stars like Nayanthara and Kajal Agarwal etc were also considered at first to play the female lead in this upcoming Chiranjeevi Movie. But Kajal Agarwal refused the offer saying that she did not want to play the heroine of senior actors.
