Tamil Actor Kathir Set for Mollywood Debut in ‘Meesha’; Co-Stars Shine Tom Chacko and Hakkim Shah
Popular Tamil actor Kathir, known for his roles in films like ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Vikram Vedha,’ is all set to make his debut in Malayalam cinema. He will be collaborating with director Emcy Joseph (director of ‘Vikruthi’) in a film titled ‘Meesha.’
The shooting of ‘Meesha’ begins on June 16th in Ernakulam, with Wagamon serving as another filming location. The film will explore the theme of male ego, with Kathir reportedly playing a character with a Tamil connection. The specific plot details are yet to be revealed by the makers.
Joining Kathir in the lead cast are Shine Tom Chacko and Hakkim Shah. Antony and Srikanth Murali round out the supporting cast. Sooraj S. Kurup will compose the music.
‘Meesha’ is produced by Zajeer Ghafoor under the banner of AHC Productions. Other crew members include cinematographer Suresh Rajan, editor Manoj, and art director Mahesh.
Kathir’s upcoming projects include the Tamil film ‘Maanavan’ and the second season of the popular web series ‘Suzhal: The Vortex.’ Meanwhile, director Emcy Joseph is also attached to the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Ennitu Avasanam’ starring Arjun Ashokan, Anna Ben, and Madhubala.
