Karthick Naren directional movie Naragasooran will bring back Indrajith to Kollywood after 8 years break!
It was in 2002 through En Mana Vaanil, actor Indrajith Sukumaran made his debut in Kollywood. En Mana Vaanil was actually the remake of his Malayalam debut movie Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan. Then the actor did another Tamil movie titled Sarvam in 2009. Now, Indrajith is doing his next Tamil movie after a long gap of 8 years. The movie which will mark the re-entry of Indrajith is Naragasooran directed by D16 fame Karthick Naren.
In an interview to The New Indian Express, Indrajith revealed the reason behind the long gap. “Many offers did come my way but I didn’t want to do a Tamil movie just for the sake of it. I have a solid space in Malayalam and back-to-back projects lined up. So, to leave all that and allot a chunk of my time for a Tamil movie, I needed a project that’s worth it. It has to challenge me as an actor. And, Naragasooran’s script just blew me away.”, says Indrajith
Naragasooran is a trilingual movie which will be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. The movie also has actors from these three film industries playing the lead roles. Aravind Swamy, Sundeep Kishan, and Shriya Saran are playing lead roles along with Indrajith in this movie.
This Karthick Naren directional flick is bankrolled by popular director Gautham Menon. The shooting of the movie is expected to begin by the end of August or in the first week of September.
