Kamal Haasan to retire from acting career after Indian 2
Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is all set to start his new project named Indian 2 and it will be directed by Shankar who had directed its first part titled Indian years back. The sequel of Indian will start rolling from this coming December 14th and there are rumors that a leading Mollywood actor will be a part of this movie as well. But last day, Kamal Haasan indicated in a press conference that Indian 2 may become his last film as an actor.
He is considering retirement from his acting career after finishing this movie as he is all set to become a full-time politician. He had launched a Political Party named Makkal Neethi Meyyam and had plans to contest in the upcoming Parliament Elections. So to do that, he is planning to quit his acting career.
He said that he will continue with his production banner and will produce films. He is now bankrolling the upcoming Vikram starrer directing by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame. Kamal Haasan was in Kerala for the last few days and he had participated in different events that held around Kochi. When it comes to Indian 2, there are reports that Kajal Agarwal has been roped in to play the female lead in the flick.
