Diwanjimoola Grand Prix Review: An exciting ride with lot of fun and energy

The movie which graced the screens here in Kerala was Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, which was directed by the popular filmmaker Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. He along with Prashant Nair had scripted this movie and the dialogues were written by Riyas Marath. Prashant Nair is an IAS Officer who is famous in Social Media and people here calls him Collector Bro. Kunchacko Boban played the male lead in this movie and Nyla Usha is the one who played the female lead. This is the 4th directorial venture of Anil Radhakrishnan Menon and his second one with Kunchacko Boban in the lead. Director himself had produced this movie in association with Masoor Muhammad and Safeer Ahammad, under the banner of Mars Entertainment.

The plot of this flick revolves around a place in Thrissur, named Diwanjimoola. The film moves forward when the newly appointed district collector, named Sajan Joseph decided to restart the Diwanjimoola Grand Pricks after many years. The story revolves around the characters named Sajan Joseph, Effy Mol, Jithendran, Sathan etc and the Bike Race completion at Diwanjimoola race track.

We have to say that Anil Radhakrishnan Menon had come back really well after the failure he suffered through his previous film named Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi. The screenplay from him and Prashant Nair have everything in it to make the audience engaged till the very end. The story was told through humorous situations and also the bike stunt scenes were captured beautifully as well. That added to the excitement factor. Each and every character were given their own identity and space in the plot and plot situations were presented beautifully as well. Even though the movie did not have anything bug to tell, the director and writer made it sure that it entertains the audience. Dialogues were hilarious and that helped the flick.

Performance from Kunchacko Boban has been good as usual and the ones who stole the show was Nyla Usha, Siddique, and Vinayakan. Nyla Usha had given a terrific performance and Siddique too had played his part fabulously well. Vinayakan who came in the second half had given a superb and hilarious performance. The newcomer who played the character named Sathan also had given a great performance. Other like Nedumudi Venu, Sudheer Karamana, Harish Kanaran, Nirmal, Tini Tom, Ashokan etc too did a fine job.

The visuals from Alex J Pulikkal has been great throughout and his visuals during the bike racing sequences were terrific. Songs and background scoring from Gopi Sundar too was decent and helped the movie to excite the audience. Manoj Kannoth had edited the flick and his crisp cuts made it sure that the movie does not test the patience of the audience.

In total, Diwanjimoola Grand Pricks is a very good entertainer which will make you laugh a lot and also will give you a fresh cinematic experience. There is something fresh in and it made the movie worth a watch for sure.
