Chemban Vinod to play the lead in PT Kunju Muhammad’s next titled ‘Bahar’
Famous filmmaker PT Kunju Muhammad is all set to make his next movie and it will be based on the life of Malayalees working in Gulf Countries. The movie has been titled as Bahar and it will have Chemban Vinod playing the lead role. Chemban Vinod had won numerous awards and fabulous appreciations for his performance in Ee Ma Yau, in which he played the lead, last year.
Bahar is an Arabic word meaning Sea and the film will soon start rolling in Kerala, says the director. It will tell the life story of a man who helped many people to reach gulf countries long years ago through the sea.
A movie named Pathemari stared by Mammootty and directed by Salim Ahammad also told this same subject some year back. But the focus of that has been on the one who has gone to Gulf countries through the sea. In this movie, we can see the life of a man who helped many to reach there and make a living there.
PT Kunju Muhammad had made critically acclaimed movies like Garshom and Paradeshi as well in his career. Paradeshi starred by Mohanlal had been a front runner at national film awards that year. The cast and crew of this upcoming movie named Bahar will be revealed very soon as well.
