Chances for Suriya Vs Vijay box office fight on next Diwali
Suriya is coming up with his next release in this Pongal season and it will be Thaana Serntha Koottam directed by Vignesh Sivan. It will grace the screens in this coming January and the Sodakku song from the movie is already a hit. As per the latest reports, Suriya will do his next movie with popular director Selva Raghavan.
Selva Raghavan also confirmed the news. He is a critically acclaimed director who had given us some superb movies. Suriya fans are in celebration mode after they heard the confirmation regarding Suriya’s next. Reports say that it will start rolling from January.
But sources from Kollywood reports that Suriya- Selva Raghavan movie will be a Diwali release next year and if it is true, then we may see a might box office clash between Suriya and Vijay on next Diwali. Vijay’s next is with AR Murugadoss and that film too is planning a Diwali release next year.
Earlier, Suriya- Vijay box office fight happened a few years back, when Vijay’s Velayudham and Suriya’s Ezham Arivu released on the same day, as a part of Diwali celebration. At that time, AR Murugadoss was with Suriya. Velayudham becomes the box office winner at that time.
