Box Office battle is on: Baahubali 2 Vs Pulimurugan!
All over India, Baahubali 2 had become a sensation and in Kerala too the film had created history at Box office. At Kerala Box Office, Baahubali 2 crossed the 50 crore mark and became the 2nd only movie to gross 50 crores from here after Pulimurugan starred by Mohanlal. Pulimurugan did it last year. The Kerala gross of Pulimurugan is near 90 crores and its 3D version will hit the screen here soon as well. So the final gross may change.
Baahubali 2 is still going strong here in Kerala and everybody is now waiting to see whether it can surpass the total Kerala gross of Pulimurugan by grossing 40 crores more from here. If it does that, Baahubali 2 will become the industry hit in Kerala as well. In Tamil Nadu too, it is going towards becoming the industry hit by surpassing the collection of Enthiran starred by Rajinikanth.
In Hindi, it had already become the industry hit. The battle between Baahubali 2 and Pulimurugan is on in Kerala now. Malayalam Films like CIA, Lakshyam, and Ramante Edanthottam which released here after the release of Baahubali 2, are not quite able to amass good word of mouth and that too is helping the movie to go forward strongly.
