Baahubali becomes a box office failure in China!
Baahubali, the magnum opus from Indian Cinema had eaten dust at Chinese Box office as the movie had become box office failure there. Baahubali, which released in China on July 22 this year, had shown a decent performance there in its first week. But from the second week onwards, the movie had failed to attract the audience and theaters were deserted by the viewers from there. The film had got more than 5000 screens in China but failed to capitalize on a decent start it got there. In Germany too, the film had faced a similar situation.
Popular Chinese distribution banner named E Stars Films had taken up the responsibility to distribute Baahubali there and they had spent crores of rupees to get the distribution rights of the movie. Chinese people had seen many movies which made on a canvas bigger than Baahubali and they may not have felt the excitement that we felt here in India related to this movie. Baahubali 2 is now in its making stage and it will hit the screens on April 28, 2017. Baahubali had collected more than 600 crores from its worldwide run and it is the biggest hit from South India now in Indian Cinema History.
SS Rajamauli had directed it and artists like Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Tamanna, Rana Daggubati etc played the lead roles in it.
