Asiavision Film Awards announced: Mohanlal, Nivin Pauly and Manju Warrier won major awards!
Asiavision Film Awards of the year 2016 has been announced last day. Nivin Pauly had won the best actor award for his performance in the movie named Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam and Mohanlal has been won the popular actor award for the gigantic box office success he had given with movies like Oppam and Pulimurugan. Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam is the best film of the year and Manju Warrier had become the best actress for her performance in the movie named Karinkunnam Sixes. Master Director Priyadarshan had won the best director award for the blockbuster movie Oppam and Kunchacko Boban has been chosen as the Man of the Year for his efforts to bring back the popular Udaya banner to the latest scheme of things in Mollywood.
Pulimurugan has been chosen as the most popular movie of this year and Manikandan Achari has become the second best actor for his performance in the movie named Kammattipadam. Best Supporting actor award went to Aju Varghese for his performance in Aan Maria Kalippilanu. Tovino Thomas, Vedhika, Asha sharath, Renji Paicker etc had won awards for their performances in movies like Guppy, James and Alice, Anuraga Karikkin Vellam and Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam respectively as well. Gopi Sundar has been chosen as the best music director. MG Sreekumar and Chithra had won the awards for best male and female playback singers respectively.
