Aanandam getting Great Responses and Another promising Director is born in Mollywood!
Anandam, the campus entertainer hit the big screens on October 21st. The film got great attention even before the release due to the fact that it is the first ever production venture of Vineeth Sreenivasan and LJ films had taken up the responsibility to distribute the movie. Vinod Shornur is a co-producer of the movie as well. They had produced this movie under the banners named Habit of Life and Cast N Crew. Debutant named Ganesh Raj had written and directed the movie and he had introduced 7 young faces in Mollywood who had played the lead in this movie. Ganesh Raj was the assistant director of Vineeth Sreenivasan.
The plot of the movie revolves around a college tour of 4 days from an engineering college. It tell us about the life of 7 friends named Kuppi, Akshay, Varun, Devika, Darshana, Dia and Gautham. From the very first show itself, the film had got great responses from the audience. The film was like a trip to memory lane for the ones who is missing their college days and it is a close to life film for those who are in colleges now. The performance from all lead actors was decent and they showed great promise as well. They competed with each other to look natural in their performance and it looked very sincere as well. Vishak ,Thomas, Anu, Arun, Siddi, Anarkkali and Roshen are the 7 fresh faces and they deserve an applause as well.
DOP from Premam fame Anend C Chandran was really cool and he created an apt atmosphere for the plot through his frames. Sachin Warrier’s songs were good and it really helped the plot to move along smoothly. Without any doubt, we can say that a promising director had born last day in Mollywood with Aanandam.
