Amala is coming back to Mollywood sharing screen space with Manju Warrier!
Popular South Indian Actress Amala Akkineni is all set for a comeback to Mollywood this year and that too sharing screen space with Manju Warrier. Amala is popular here in Mollywood through the Super Successful movies like Ente Sooryaputhrikku directed by Fazil and Ulladakkam by Kamal. In Ulladakkam, she had shared screen space with the Complete Actor Mohanlal and it was one of the classics in Mollywood as well. Later, she quitted from her acting career as she married Telugu Super Star Nagarjuna. Now she is coming back to Mollywood after 25 years and it will be through a movie directed by debutant Antony Sony and the screenplay of this Amala- Manju Warrier movie is written by RJ Shaan.
The film is titled as C/o Sairabhanu and Amala Akkineni is playing the character of a lawyer in this movie. Her character name is Annie John Tharavadi and the flick revolves around the conflict that happens between her character and the character played by Manju Warrier, named Sairabhanu. Both characters will have equal importance in the plot, says the director.
Manju Warrier will sport a different look for this movie and she is playing a Muslim girl who lives in Kochi. Shane Nigam who become popular through the movie named Kismath, will play the character of Manju’s son in this movie. It will start rolling from this coming September.
