Amal Neerad’s Upcoming Film Gets a Title: “Bougainvillea” Announced!
Director Amal Neerad has named his upcoming film “Bougainvillea”. The film boasts a stellar cast headlined by Malayalam cinema’s favorite, Kunchacko Boban, in a mass hero role. The title was revealed today at noon with an official poster featuring all the film’s main stars. The recently released character posters for the film have generated significant buzz among fans.
Fahadh Faasil also plays a pivotal role in the film, while Sharafuddin, Jyothirmayi, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda round out the impressive cast.
The script for ‘Bougainvillea’ is co-written by director Amal Neerad and the renowned young novelist Lajo Jose. This marks Lajo Jose’s first foray into film scriptwriting, known for his popular novels like “Coffee House,” “Hydrangea,” and “Ruthinte Lokam”.
Sushin Shyam will be composing the music, with Anand C. Chandran handling cinematography and Vivek Harshan on editing duties. The film is a co-production between Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures.
This project reunites Fahadh Faasil with Amal Neerad after their collaborations on “Iyyobinte Pusthakam” and “Varathan.” Meanwhile, “Bougainvillea” marks the first time Kunchacko Boban teams up with Amal Neerad and the second time Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban share the screen since “Take Off.” Filming for “Bougainvillea” began last year.
