Action King Arjun to play a full-length character in Mohanlal’s Marakkar
Complete Actor Mohanlal who is currently busy with the filming of Prithviraj directorial Lucifer and KV Anand directorial Tamil movie will join Marakkar: The Lion of Arabian Sea in November. Master director Priyadarshan will helm this project and it will be the biggest ever project in Mollywood as well. As per the latest reports, Kollywood star Arjun too will join the star cast of this film.
Earlier Bollywood star Sunil Shetty too had confirmed that he will be a part of this project. Priyadarshan told to media that both Arjun and Sunil Shetty will play full-length characters in this movie and they are playing real-life characters as well. Even though their characters are taken from real-life, because of the scarcity of historical details, Priyadarshan will add fiction to their story as well.
Mohanlal plays the central character of Kunjali Marakkar and Pranav Mohanlal will play his younger version. Madhu, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Nedumudi Venu are also part of this film as well. Sabu Cyril is the project designer and Tirru will be the DOP of this flick.
Seems like some more big names to be added to the cast list and technical side of this movie in the coming days. They will start the filming of this movie on November 1st and it will be bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla, and Dr. C J Roy.
