Aamir Khan or Akshay Kumar: Who will replace Mohanlal in Bollywood version of Oppam?
Oppam, the latest Mollywood blockbuster is crossing the boundaries of languages. Oppam is moving towards one of the biggest hits ever made in Mollywood and just like Drishyam, Oppam is making a great impact outside Kerala as well. We had already reported you that Oppam is going to be remade in Tamil and Kamal Hassan showed his interest to play the blind character named Jayaraman, played to perfection by Mohanlal in the Malayalam version. Now a report coming in that Oppam will be remade to Bollywood as well. But the big question here is that who will replace Mohanlal in the Hindi version. As per reports, actors like Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar showed their interest to remake the film to Bollywood as they loved it and want to do the role of the blind man.
Akshay Kumar is usually the choice of Priyadarshan when he makes Bollywood movies and reports coming in that Priyadarshan himself will direct the Bollywood version of Oppam. If that is the case, then it might be Akshay Kumar playing the lead in it as Priyadarshan had his dates with him for a movie in the near future. Priyadarshan and Aamir Khan had earlier planned a movie together, but it was not materialized. So, we have to wait and see that whether they will consider this Oppam remake as an opportunity to join together for a movie.
