The Great Father movie team introduced new promotion strategies. The teaser surpassed 1 Million views in record time and 2M record follows!
Megastar Mammootty starrer upcoming movie The Great Father’s teaser that was released through Mammootty’s facebook page have surpassed 1 Million views in record time and later crossed 2M mark also in record time.
The team used new promotion strategies to promote the teaser. Usually, Malayalam promo videos are released through YouTube channels. This time, The Great Father (TGF) team decides to release the teaser through facebook pages using the facebook feature crossposting.
Crossposting makes easy to post videos to multiple pages at the same time. That means the same video is shown on different pages that are part of cross posting. For the teaser release, almost 11 pages were used apart from Mammootty’s page. Official facebook Pages of Prithviraj and Dulquer Salmaan were also part of this promotion.
After 11 hours of teaser release, total views of 2M were added from all the pages. Most views were from Mammootty’s official page itself registering 1M+ views while other 11 pages together make almost 925K views in just 10 hours. Registering 2M views for a teaser in just 11 hours is an all-time record in Mollywood. This clearly indicates that this new promotion strategy is a huge hit. Later, the TGF team also released the intro-teaser through YouTube channel.
