Nivin Pauly’s Tamil movie titled as Avargal!
Young Mollywood Star Nivin Pauly had finished his works in the second Tamil movie of his career. The first one was Neram, which was a bilingual movie from Alphons Puthran. His second Tamil film is directed by a debutant named Gautham Ramachandran and it is the Tamil remake of a Kannada thriller named Ullidavaru Kandante. At first, there have been some reports that the Tamil remake of that thriller with Nivin Pauly has been titled as Santa Maria. But now an update is coming in that the movie has been titled as Avargal, in order to get tax redemption from Tamil Nadu government. In Tamil Nadu, if the title of the film is in a language other than Tamil, it will have to pay extra tax. So they changed the title of the movie to Avargal from Santa Maria. But in Kerala, the film will be released with the title Santa Maria as per reports.

Long years back, a movie with the title Avargal had released in Tamil Nadu, which was directed by legendary director Late Balachander. Ulaga Nayakan Kamala Hasan and Super Star Rajinikanth had played the lead roles in that movie.
Nivin will have few more Tamil films coming next year from directors like Prabhu Radhakrishnan, Surya B and Gautham Menon as per reports. He will act in a Kollywood movie produced by Gautham Menon as well.
